So far so good. It says may take 1-2 weeks. More like 1-2 days. I checked my 4 locations and they already had taken effect.
Honestly I had a hard time believing this would work. I have done the misting and fogging and even other types of traps similar to Tougher Than Tom. All of them did not last a week or didn’t work at all . I’m now 2 weeks in with Tougher Than Tom and have been pleasantly surprised with the results not one mosquito buzz or bite.
I used this product last year, it took about 2 weeks for me to notice a difference after fixing the containers, there's a lot of water around me, but then I could sit outside in the evening and enjoy my decks and patio without being swarmed, heaven
This product performs as advertised. I have 8 hung around my property and it has worked great to reduce the mosquito encounters while I'm outside. It's worth every penny.
I'm on my second month using TNT 2 and have dramatically decreased the mosquito population in my yard. Very pleased so far. I have a half acre yard on a large lake. I've got the four stations on the corners and they pick up the mosquitos coming into my yard. I do notice a few after about the third week, so I'll change out to a new pack once I notice them again.
I live on a narrow, 100 yard long peninsula on a lake. For the past few years I've put a dozen mosquito traps up. I make sure they are up by the beginning of April. It's extremely effective and safe for our lake.
I like the new containers. Easy to use without worrying if rain water will get in. As for mosquitoes, so far so good.
So far, it seems to be working. I do still spray myself with deet and so my review may not be totally accurate. I will say though that I’m not being eaten alive as I was last summer. I will post another review as the summer progresses.

Better than chemicals
Seemed to be fewer mosquitoes, then they got bad again... Think it's because of the near constant rain we had for weeks, up until this week. Giving it a chance, holding out hope it does as well as everyone keeps saying.
Great product lets us enjoy the outdoors! All I can say is it works!
Unfortunately the mosquito products did not work for us at all. We've tried them for three months and are still covered in mosquito bites.

I have put out six of the traps in my yard. What I’m finding is depending on where the trap is, they seem to be attracting different sorts of insects. On one side of the yard, I am catching a tremendous number of black flies. On the other side, I am collecting what seems to be gnats. They could be mosquitoes, but they seem rather small. I still have mosquitoes buzzing around my head in the vegetable garden, but I’m going to continue to use all of the packets I have, which should get me through the summer to complete this experiment. (In hot weather they need replenishment) I would probably recommend this product, with the caveat that folks might not catch the types of insects that they were hoping for…

They do seem to work, but have misleading marketing and a purposefully misleaded website - a product will be called a 'pack' in the products main description, with a 'buy 2 get 1 free' but really the 12 pouches in the box are 3 'packs' so if you buy 2 packs, there is no 3rd, you're just buying a box of 12 for (without a sale) $40. Is it cheaper than buying 4 pouches for $20? Yes, but that's typically how buying in bulk works. Clean up your messaging
Ordered the buy 2 get one free deal and only received 2 packs. When I wrote the company and mentioned this, they sent me an email with a percentage off my next purchase. I don't think so!
I love the product and it does seem to work well, but the instructions do not clearly indicate how much water should be added when mixing, and so Im not really sure if I've got it right.
My son told me about Tougher Than Tom. This year has been a pretty wet year so mosquitos are a problem. I made my first order in late spring before the mosquitoes were bad. We did not have a problem with mosquitos. I went to my mothers-in-law's house just a 1/4 mile away and was slapping mesquites the whole time I was there. I ordered the mega pack to make sure I would always have some bait on hand. This stuff really works.
It's not working as well this time, and this is my third refill. Kinda disappointed.
Our yard (acreage) backs up to a creek and wooded area. Since using TNT bait we see minimal mosquitos. My parents even mentioned they have more mosquitos than we do, and they live in the middle of town with no creek and few large trees! I knew there had to be a mosquito solution and I tried many things before finding this- I have called off my search- Tougher than Tom's is the answer!
I usually love Tougher than Tom products. These spill if there is any wind. I live on a windy hill, so they do not even stay full for 24 hours. So they are not able to work. So we are covered in mosquitoes. The old style was hard to put together, but they did not spill and worked very well for us.
We have using Tom'S TNT for 3 years now. works great. Even bought some for-family members so they could try it. Thanks Ken Green
I am still a little skeptical. I've put my 4 jars out and the only thing I've trapped is a white-faced hornet.
These actually work!
This has done great in the past few summers but as another reviewer mentioned, the black containers seemed to have worked better then this new clear design. They seem to dry out really quickly as well (I live in Denver and it is very dry). I am not giving up and recently refilled all the containers so we will see how the rest of the mosquito season goes.

Actually works! My backyard is polluted with mosquitoes and flies. Since I’ve set the traps, I’ve noticed a slight change. Still a long journey but I can see all the mosquitoes and surprisingly flies that were caught and it’s great. As long as the price for this doesn’t get out of control, I’ll definitely keep buying.
We're a little disappointed. Seems like it worked much better last summer than this summer. We've applied the product exactly as we should have, and placed the jars in exactly the same place, but still have mosquitos. The only difference is that last year we used the black jars and this year we used the clear ones. Any ideas?
Like the deal on the mosquito refill kits. Not quite in the heavy mosquito season yet, so I'll see how it goes.

I like the products but the buy 2 get one free offer is a little misleading since they don't tell you the free product is already calculated into the shipment. So if you buy two products you don't get a free third product you just get the two you purchased. It's confusing but I still like the products.
